New chapter. Got a new dog this weekend. Lottie the collie dog. She’s sweet, but so far just sort of sits on the rug. I was very stressed about that transition, but Christie really wanted the dog and we had a very long discussion about it. It’s fun to be able to care for something. So far, there are few problems. She seems well-behaved, docile, and I haven’t heard her bark. Not once. She just sits in the corner and keeps to herself unless somebody comes over and says hi. Someone at work said that sounds like the perfect dog for me. I think that was a comment about my personality. Guess I can be quite skittish, too. Here’s a picture of our dog, and a smiley Christie.
